Meet The People

OUR STAFF

The COI Team are experts in short-term missions. Leading and hosting mission outreaches is our passion. Every COI Base Director has no less than 12 years, full-time, hands on, ministry experience. Most are not only COI missionaries, but licensed, trained and practicing pastors, leaders, or coaches. Everyone who serves in any type of COI staff position, including the ministries we partner with on the field, have been thoroughly vetted, and/or background checked. Safety is our first and foremost concern.

Our passionate hearts are at the core of our service with COI.  We have the same DNA, and burden you do… God, people, nations, missions, outreach. We are all about ministry. We do it, full time, even when teams are not on the field with us. Our purpose to is provide groups, teams, and individuals, a personal and quality outreach experience when partnering in missions with us.

We understand the reason for your mission outreach. We know your heart is to raise yourself, or your group up to learn personal ministry to others and cultivate a life-long love for missions and outreach. We are here to serve you, and minister along side you, helping you do what God is calling you to do during your week of service.

We know, from almost 30 years and literally hundreds of competent, fruitful outreaches, what needs to be done during the trip, and what does not need to be done on your outreach. Our priority is your success. Our focus is you and your team making a difference with your ministry. By touching the heart of God, you will carry away a lifetime of memories from a meaningful week of service!

MaryAlice Isleib

Executive Director

MaryAlice Isleib’s 1979 short term mission trip as a basketball player changed not only her destiny, but the destiny of her family. Her father, Jack Isleib, was so deeply touched by the results, that he and his wife Rosa, stepped out in faith to start Christian Sports Outreach Int’l in 1984.

During Jack and Rosa’s time, Christian Outreach International had released over 25,000 short-term and full-time missionaries, established mission base properties, English as Second Language Schools, Mission Training Schools, and diverse mission projects world-wide.

In 2004, at Jack’s passing, MaryAlice, a long standing COI Board member and ordained minister, was asked by the Board to take leadership of the organization. She agreed, and combines her itinerant ministry with directing  COI.
