One of the very special things about working with COI is its people. When you go on the mission field with COI you know you are going to be working side by side with full time missionaries. This is not a ‘mission trip in a box’ kind of experience; this is God using the unique gifts of your group to enhance a ministry that is already in place and will continue after your group leaves. This is the way short term missions ought to be done. – NL

COI has been very active in Uzhgorod since 1994. There is a population of about 140,000 that is in desperate need of the hope of Jesus Christ. The Christian population of this town is less than 2%.

Our base has developed a very good network in this area and each group is a blessing to the local church and people. The people of Ukraine are very hospitable. We can coordinate home stays for our groups, which is one of the highlights of the trip. We would love to meet your desires and use the talents of your group to the best of God’s glory on a short term mission trip to Uzhgorod.
